Kiss me, love me, and let me down again, one more time...

Love me, leave me and make me cry again... Ignore me, call me and snub me again...

Please, because I like it so much when the angels play their little drum machines. I've autodestruction tendancies maybe... I don't know... I might be a mazochist to want something that makes me suffer so much... Demolition is fun! Remember when you were a small fat kid playing with bricks... Let's break it and rebuild it again and again and again... Then, after a while, I know it won't be fun anymore though!

I'll never get away hey hey hey...

Hi there,
I've been thinking of what I could post today to avoid thinking anything else, trying to focus my mind on silly little things to stop thinking about him - and thought I could post one of Jarvis Cocker's new song, Angela maybe..., but after reflexion... I've changed my mind!

I found without great surprise, that Jarvis' voice was singing sthg else on my mind! One corresponding much better to what happened last night... well, I will not tell you! Cause I'm already telling too much about what's happening in my life on here...
So here is the song I'm posting today: Little Girl, by PULP

" - What d'you think Jarvis would do?
              - Hey, he would certainly write a song about it!
              - Oh, alright! D'you have a pen please? "

One day I'll find my way back to you...

Hey guys!
I'm back with the sun, and lots of things to share with you... I've got lots of songs on my mind...

So let's start with songs by Amy Eleanor Turnnidge a.k.a. Theoretical Girl

If you like what you hear, come to enjoy the gig tomorrow in Camden (at Barfly / 7pm / £8 / Tickets)

... DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO...

And now, a litlle bonus; something I filmed myself with my digicam last time I saw Theoretical Girl playing for Bandstand Busking. It was on April 5th by a nice sunny afternoon, on Northampton Square... The song is called "The Biggest Mistake"

... The truth is there's no-one like you...

If Marianne was born a man, she'd show you all...

New blog-post a bit in advence this week, cause I'll be away for a week (Easter break).
So this is NOT the song in my mind TODAY; but the song that will be certainely... cause, as I am not going to be in London, I am going to miss Marianne Faithfull's in-store gig at Rough Trade shop!!! I'm so sad of that!!! It is very upsetting me! I hope I'll have more chocolate in compensation!

so...

The Decemberists + Marianne Faithfull + Nick Cave = The Crane Wife 3 (written by The Decemberists, Feat. Nick Cave) -- Enjoy!

and also...

Marianne Faithfull + Jarvis Cocker = this nice video of "Sliding Through Life On Charm" for a french TVshow.

I LIKE IT!!!!!

So... The lady is playing next Wednesday at Rough Trade; for the lucky people who can go there and grab a wristband (I hate you!); and she will be back to London in the summer for a show at the Royal festival hall (great venue), on July 20th. Hurry up, the best tickets are already gone! ;-)

Happy Easter Everyone!

IT'S NOT OVER YET...

OR IS IT?...

"Remember me
So tenderly
Don't let it slip away"

That's "the song on my mind today..."
