The best way to spend £2!!! Love you Sister Ray!

"Anyone who is in the back, kissing time is over now! So come here!"

Yesterday I found something great at Sister Ray record shop!!!!
The Slits live at the Gibus Club. (recorded in that parisian club on January 1978)
I've bought this CD without any conviction, as I just like few songs by the Slits (Love und Romance, Typical Girl, Newtown) because I don't really like this reggea direction... Anyway I also bought this CD just because everybody's talking about them at the moment... and it was just 2 quid so I wasn't really taking any risks! And also, seeing there was a cover of "Femme Fatale" decided me to buy it... ;-)

So I came back home and listened to it, and what a good surprise!!!
And this shit was just £2 - what a good deal!
This is dirty sound as I like it! (recorded 30years ago)
(Made me change my mind about this band, I've been wrong judging them too quickely!)

So here we go, with all my generosity, I'm giving you the complete set! You just have to download and enjoy cause those live version of most Cut songs sounds much better according to me!

1. Split
2. Vaseline
3. So Tough
4. Newtown
5. Instant Hit
6. Une Homme Et Un Slit
7. Love Und Romance
8. Femme Fatale
9. Shoplifting
10. Enemy Numero Une
11. Split 2
12. Shoplifting 2

PROBLEME FIXED!!! SHOULD WORK PROPERLY NOW!
I AM REALLY SORRY IT DIDN'T DOWNLOAD BEFORE. THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE...

Panic in the streets of London...

"Hang the DJ, Hang the DJ hey!"
(by the way here is a cover of this Smiths song, by Elektrocution (a great great great band cause there're from where I'm from! ;-) No, honestly, they are a great band to see on stage!)

So, what makes a good DJset? Well, first, I think there must be an opening ("hey oh, let's go!") and it must also have an end ("it's time to get away") then you need something new to make the people discover and something old to make them remember, and also few usual shits to make them dance on. And that's it! The list is complete!

So here is my list as promised, for a bit more than an hour of fun:

- 1. Blitzkrieg Bop - The Ramones
- 2. Greta - Ipso Facto
- 3. Ever Fallen in Love - Buzzcocks

It's never been so true!...

Today let's go back in 1987, with the Mano Negra.
Cause someone told me about Manu Chao lately so I felt like posting something by them!
So the song in my mind today is La Rançon Du Succès which was on their album Puta's Fever.
It's about all those reality shows and those "wanna be" who just try so hard to get famous but they are only getting ridiculous!

Little advertissement:

Mine are almost gone!

Today I dowloaded something from a blog... a song called Caught Wheel, by a band called Your Twenties. I like it and it's now stuck on my mind so I decided I'll post it for you! Hope you'll like it! I think this band is to follow... Let's see what will happen next!

It's been a long time...

No posts for the past 2 weeks...
Well, I just had... nothing to post! Hihihi... Cause I didn't do my weekly homework, I didn't look for anything new to post, I've been lazy, I'm sorry!
So if there's nothing new to check on here, you can still go to check some friend's blogs like: "We Want To Wigoler" (www.ww2w.fr)

I knew from the finish to the start!!!

How did I know it was going to happen?...
Did you already have this feeling anyone? It's no extralucidity or prediction... it's more like certitude... you just know that's gonna happen and it does! You can't explain how you knew, you just knew! And you fear it because you don't want it to happen but there is nothing you can do about it... Maybe you even unconsciously make it happen a little bit...
